For Sale: Globtrotter Vintage 10speed tandem

1980s vintage Globetrotter tandem in very good condition. I believe that these Reynolds 531 frames were built by the French company Follis, imported into the UK and rebadged. Seat tube heights are approximately; front 60cm, rear 57cm. I am 5’8”, my wife is 5’2” and we found it comfortable to ride. There is plenty of adjustment for taller riders.

This is a very original bike, except for the saddles which have been replaced. ‘V’ brakes provide the main braking, in addition to an Atom drum drag brake. Brakes pads are new and the tyres are in good condition. Ten speed derailleur gears.

The frame and wheels are in good condition, mudguards and pannier racks are fitted. There is a dynamo and lights – I have not tested these.

There are some minor cosmetic flaws which are consistent with age. Please look at the pictures and ask any questions before committing yourself to purchase the item.

The bike is ready to ride away.
